Lucky Son of a Gun here managed to get a Free Trade Ticket for the Friday Opening Session, my first time attending LCBF, so had no idea what to expect, but the Brewery List was Epic!

Stand Out Brewery to me was Amundsen from Norway, I had heard of the Brewery before but can’t say I had drank many of there beers especially none from Memory!

They had 4 Beers on and as far as I am concerned they were all up there:-

Unknown Universe – New England IPA – 7.0%

4.5/5 – Very well rounded NEIPA, the thing I am starting to find these days with so many NEIPA’s on the market, it’s hard to find one that ticks all the boxes and is well balanced

Cosmic Unicorn – Blackberry & Peach Pastry Sour – 6.5%

4.25/5 – Sour Beers are not really Beers I feel I can ever judge fairly, I have to be in the mood for them to begin with! But this just hit the spot on the day, not mouth puckering Sour, I suppose it was supposed to be a Pastry Sour

Double Stuffed – BBA Cookie Dough Imperial Stout – 12%

4.75/5 – I have grown to love my Imperial Stouts over the last 2-3 years, this one was perfectly executed, you couldn’t taste the ABV which is always the first sign of a good Imperial Stout, it had a decent thick mouthful, and it had plenty of sweetness and depth of flavour YUM!!!

Triple Scoop – BBA Neapolitan Ice Cream Imperial Stout – 12%

4.50/5 – Just as smooth as the Cookie Dough, But I preferred the Cookie Dough
