Style: bourbon barrel aged Imperial stout brewed with maple syrup and forrest blueberries 10.8%
Aroma: sweet and tart blueberries behind a thick scent of syrup and dark chocolate.
Taste: earthy and lightly tart blueberries that goes super well with the deep dark roasted coffee bitterness and the sweet maple syrup. There is'nt much of a bourbon barrel but you get some of that spicy woody goodiness in the finish. The bitter roasted coffee flavor in this is amazing.
Always a treat too drink an imperial stout or porter from Põhjala.
