Saison Ale with Brettanomyces
"Super awesome collaborations are always fun. Especially when the boundaries disappear and creativity runs wild. Conceived in collaboration with Almanac Beer (Bay Area, CA), we wanted to build a fresh farmhouse-style beer, that was in and of itself, weird. But we love drinkability, complexity, and most of all, a good story - so we met in the middle, pulling hints of California and Denmark into the mix. Rye bread, sourdough loaves, local wildflower honey, dried strawberries, ginger, grains of paradise, and of course Brettanomyces. Aromatic, crisp and nuanced, with notes of rye spice, bright floral and citrus, atop a dry, funky base. The perfect beer for Summer time, as well as anytime"
